It would add 4 state representatives and 2 state senators. It is very important that this ballot measure is passed. One of our state senators already has a district larger than the state of Texas, and it goes from Metlakatla all the way to Crooked Creek. Increasing the legislature makes that district smaller, (among other things), ensuring better representation for all Alaskans.
