He weighed 8lbs 1oz and was 20.5" tall. Mom and baby are apparently healthy enough and we were allowed to come home tonight. Interesting things to note, while watching Katy get her IV put in I fainted while clutching my book I was trying to read to my chest. Deacon was almost too big for Katy and the docs were telling her that if she didn't get him out with 1 more push they'd have to do an emergency C-section. That threat apparently did the trick, but on the way out we found out that Deacon and the umbilical cord wrapped twice around his neck which probably didn't help things much.
