I've got this handled "better" now, though there's still the possibility that explicit links can be fairly lengthy and mess with the formatting of the comment box. However, with every link there is now an indicator next to it that says the host name of the site the link actually goes to. Well, it depends on your browser. Some of them (apparently Chrome, and IE) automatically wrap links pasted into special "textareas" like the comment box with the correct linking tags.
