Suicide will be the destination. Both of which are perfectly doable in a day of snowshoeing, no other technical gear really required, though if anyone has access to AT ski gear it would make it a hell of a lot easier and funner on the way down as well. At minimum warm boots, good wintry gear and stamina are required. Rei rents snowshoes pretty cheap by the way.
