And, somehow, it mostly works! I've listened to Part I, and didn't enjoy it nearly as much as this release - they've refined the experimental approach a bit more to create a pretty cohesive sound. I was never a fan of trve black metal, but with a bit of an industrial edge and a good dose of spacey guitar interludes, it kind of transcends the genre and becomes something fresh and new! 3.5/5 - Very good. A tough listen, but it takes black metal into new places that I didn't really think were possible!
