Alt J is an incredibly unique sounding band. The vocal delivery in particular is provocative and borderline annoying... but you eventually get used to it, and see how well it marries to the odd guitar, bass, and other instrumentation. I guess I would classify this as... indie-sounding... but that term is pretty throwaway these days. 3.5/5 - Very good album. Cohesive, and I really haven't heard much else that sounds like.
