In fact, it’s almost become formula to have multipart songs separated over the album, with a long time track occupying the penultimate or thereabouts slot on the album. If the music wasn’t so good, and full of emotion, it’d probably become tedious… but man, Anathema has a knack for creating the most evocative soul-searching music ever. And with this album, they’ve really perfected that formula. 4.0/5 – Great album. They’re going to have to head in some other direction for the next album, as I feel the formula they’ve ridden for the past few will become tired pretty quickly from this point on.
