It's interesting that you can have point-to-point conversations where you are just talking with one person via direct message (and have push and email notifications apply the same). Unfortunately, I don't see where one has the ability to start a temporary group conversation. It has an interesting feature where a "cell" (a group chat) can have what they call "receptors" and "transmitters." A receptor can be another cell, or a feed like a public Twitter account or an RSS feed (something that could link the cell with updates from idkfa).
