Scrotor: What an interesting release. It's

What an interesting release. It's progressive djent with all clean vocals; honestly, I've always been curious if clean vox djent would work, and it does... but primarily because it's VERY melodic djent (not anything like, say, Vildhjarta). What I didn't know when I picked this up is that it is a band created by 20-year old guitar prodigy Jakub Zytecki (from Poland); his playing is simply out of this world. He has ridiculously technical chops, but also plays really tasteful jazzy leads. An impressive display of skill. 3.5/5 - Very good, although pretty overwritten. The guitar playing is spectacular, and the melodic djent good, but the album is a bit overlong and some of the songwriting not great. However, they have a very promising future!
