This is the house we just moved out of in April; we finally got it on the market. it would probably be small for you guys (it was small for the three of us) but if it is still on the market by the time you move here, and you guys are still scrambling, maybe we work out a lease for a year or something. the schools are Tudor Elem, Wendler Middle, and East High, but zone exemptions are a super popular thing in Anchorage these days. note that it says 3 bed but one of the bedrooms is really a walk-through bedroom.
