It sounds like you are in an upswing! And, your list seems to be perfectly weighted in order of priorities. That is excellent! If it were my list, i'd just hold off on #6 until 2013. Or, only after 1-5 are in order. Or, if you do a musical. THEN IT MIGHT JUST BE EASIER! Just remember: one thing at a time. And, #1>#6.

Woah woah woah there Wilber! If the show is actually a touring production (and especially if its touring in Canada or the Pacific NW) Anchorage Concert Association has a great chance of getting it up here quickly. Rock of Ages is coming to Anchorage 2012 (6 yrs) And shows like Memphis, In the Heights, Spring Awakening, etc are on a short list depending on scheduling. Also, Blue Man Group, Spamalot, Avenue Q and Mamma Mia! have all been here recently. Our Tix run for ~$45-85. :)

But it is not too lengthy as books go. your presence at book club (book being read non withstanding) can be my birthday present from you to me! only 3 days belated!

Cuyler is in Texas visiting his girlfriend, and won't be able to make it. Baird does plays now, not books. New people are encouraged to attend!

If you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, and you want to be hit in the face by a giant Jello mold, here’s the inside scoop: Blue Man Group Poncho Seats: For one week, February 21-25, Poncho seats to Blue Man Group shows in Anchorage will be available to ACA Facebook friends only! These tickets cost $82 on standard night shows and $92 on Premier night shows. The poncho section is the first three rows of seats in the theatre closest to the stage. It is the most interactive seating section of the show. If you sit there, you will be provided with a poncho to wear, because the performers work with some materials that splash and can make a mess. Everything in the show is washable so we suggest that you do not wear anything that needs dry cleaning. Sitting in the poncho section does not guarantee that you will get splashed but we provide ponchos as a precaution. Call 263-ARTS or Centertix.net to purchase. Or post questions on IDKFA. If you prefer “Jello free zone” tickets, I’d wait until the last week of February to purchase b/c we “might just be” adding 4 MORE SHOWS!

Allison's picks After all the doom and gloom...and equations, lets read something light and fun! The Third Policeman by: Flann O’Brien 200 pages The Third Policemanis Flann O'Brien's brilliantly dark comic novel about the nature of time, death, and existence. Told by a narrator who has committed a botched robbery and brutal murder, the novel follows him and his adventures in a two-dimensional police station where, through the theories of the scientist/philosopher de Selby, he is introduced to "Atomic Theory" and its relation to bicycles, the existence of eternity (which turns out to be just down the road), and de Selby's view that the earth is not round but "sausage-shaped." With the help of his newly found soul named "Joe," he grapples with the riddles and contradictions that three eccentric policeman present to him. The last of O'Brien's novels to be published, The Third Policeman joins O'Brien's other fiction (At Swim-Two-Birds, The Poor Mouth, The Hard Life, The Best of Myles, The Dalkey Archive) to ensure his place, along with James Joyce and Samuel Beckett, as one of Ireland's great comic geniuses. Super Sad True Love Storyby Gary Shteyngart 331 pages Author Gary Shteyngart might have the most memorable name, but the author of Absurdistan continues to roll out wild dystopian novels that unnerve you even while you're laughing. Super Sad True Love Story belies almost every word of its title, but it still plunges us into a satirical realm that we can recognize if we open our eyes widely. Restless, middle-aged, maladjusted Lenny Abramov and young Eunice Park, his somewhat reluctant old-fashioned love interest alternate as narrators, each of them projecting a slightly twisted view of an even more twisted reality. A refreshing satirical romp for hip fiction readers. Remained by: Tom McCarthy 308 pages A man is severely injured in a

Finished Wastelands. Although short stories aren't my favorite, i really liked this collection. There were 3-4 real stand outs in my opinion. The last one is pretty awesome. Curious to see if others liked the same authors i did. Actually, King, Card, and Wolfe (all noted authors) wrote what i thought were some of the more lackluster or disappointing stories. Martin's contribution was pretty solid. If i had to guess, i would have thought King was the author of David Bailey's chapter. Definitely going to look into some of Bailey's other works. Hurry up and finish guys!

Easily solved. buy baby food in the jar. I recommend turkey or chicken flavored. continue to crush up pill, and mix into maybe 1/3rd or so of the baby food. feed kitty with spoon. (its very adorable) make sure to feed kitty non-pill contaminated baby food first each time you give her a pill so she knows its awesome. also, make a big deal about opening the jar and make sure she sees or hears you do it. DON'T let her see you put pill dust it in. naturally. Its a little expensive, but totally worth it for a short period of time. For the liquid, do you have a syringe? I say just use one of those and cover mouth with hand after the squirt. I guess you can also put in baby food, but syringe seems easier and much quicker. she can only eat so much baby food goodness. They usually gag and foam way less with liquids. I've heard rubbing or tickling the throat while keeping mouth closed with hands makes them swallow quicker, but I've never had to do that. Good luck!

Glad you guys liked it! And, please spread the word! It's a hard show to explain to someone in 10 words or less. And since it's for adults only, ticket sales are slower than Mamma Mia! or Blue Man Group. Which we knew would happen... So, tell your friends (or parents??) The internet is for porn, and buying tickets!

if you start young, i've heard the vinyl nail caps are pretty sweet. i think i'd try that with my next batch of cats. OR I COULD JUST BUY MORE... YES! CATS! mine are declawed and don't seem to be scarred for life or anything. Also, if you have a leather couch or furniture their back claws still rip it up pretty bad. Up at my parents house (where they used to live) it's either have an indoor cat, or a dead one. Lucy still catches mice just fine. Tex is too dumb to hunt anything without cat nip in it. I heard that Sexretary's cat Chubs took down a bird once! Are you going to get your kitty a leash??? Her and Tex could go on walks together!

Hey Guys! For those of you that don't know, Avenue Q is coming to town!!! Its a Tony award winning musical that is pretty much targeted and written towards our age group. I'd equate it to The Muppets meet South Park with Gary Coleman thrown in for good measure. Anyway, its a quality show and very funny. Sure to be a good time! If you're broke like me and can't afford tickets i might be able to help :) there are a couple 10% or more off discount codes, and an event at Rum Runners this Thursday night which has several dozen pairs of tickets to give away. Since no one knows what Avenue Q is, we need help spreading the word! Check clips out on Anchorage Concert Association's FB page, or youtube. Hope to see you there!
