First of all, I'd like to say welcome to idkfa. Second of all, I'd like to say we have some rules that we have to live by.

This site is a web discussion forum. It is accessed by all sorts of people. People you know, people you don't. Like civil adults, we have to respect each other no matter what we think.

This site allows for free speech. To a point. You can say anything you want, provided that:

• It is intelligent. This means that it has to have some merit as to the thought put into making the post. This may or may not apply to some posts, as even website administrators have been known to make mistakes from time to time.
• It is respectful. Your opinions may be contrary to theirs, and you may feel free to have an intelligent argument with them, but you will absolutely not post anything that will cause harm to anyone else. Such things include Instant Messenger conversations, malicious links, or anything that negatively affects idkfa users in some way.
• It is relevant. This applies largely to where you are posting. For instance, the debate section aims to have well-structured, articulate, and all-encompassing debates. This is not a section to share your favorite lyric or poem. Each section sets a pretty wide precedent for what is to be posted there, but each section does have its own rules, and will be moderated accordingly. You are responsible for knowing where you are and what you are replying to, so please be mindful of what you are doing.

As for user images, anything found to be offensive or malicious will be deleted without question.

People who repeatedly abuse the system will have privileges revoked, which for now basically means to have their account deleted, along with all of their comments.

NOTICE: If you find something offensive, illegal, or in violation of the rules above, be sure to contact an administrator and it will be dealt with promptly.

You may ask who is going to administering these rules. Certain users will have the authority to moderate, namely the site's creator, and perhaps a few users who have shown responsibility and integrity in their time on idkfa.

There will come a time when these rules will be questioned, and people will want things changed. There is absolutely no harm in asking for something done.
