Babymetal (www.metalhammer.co.uk).

Do yourself a favor and watch. Japan probably has the strangest non-totalitarian culture ever.

This is a pretty sweet Chick Publication about the evils of D&D. I now want to be Elfstar.

Somewhat work inappropriate, but the Riker Googling (twitter.com) Twitter account is pretty fantastic.

Silicon Valley (www.reddit.com)

Warning: video has language probably not terribly appropriate for work.

But, it's Mike Judge doing an HBO show about Silicon Valley start-ups.

Jobs was a poser; he didn't even write code.

This Kickstarter game looks epic and I pledged to them. Everyone should as well. Well, mostly Erik should or other peoples that enjoy board games, super heroes, and board games where you become super heroes.

Mike, you'd like this too.

Always-on kinect is definitely one of the reasons against buying an xbox one.

Erik,

Make a character in GTA: Online and create a Rockstar Social Club account. That way you can join Josh and I.

JD

Same thing for you when you return to WA

Mic/headsets are strongly recommended.

The character names and place names in the movie 47 Ronin are largely based on the 47 Ronin legend (including "delicious"), except Keanu Reeves's part. Keanu's part, the demons, and the witchcraft are entirely fabricated.

I didn't mention it yesterday but I was pretty sure the legend was referenced in the totally sweet Robert De Niro movie Ronin. Yep.

These animals are goddamn terrifying. (www.youtube.com) I expect this is just a sampling of what the Cretaceous offered.

Erik this is mostly for you, I really hope you knew about the Klok opera (www.youtube.com) because it was as good as I wanted it to be. I Will buy the album.

The movie Super is... ridiculous. Not sure how I never saw it before now. Quite possibly the most awkward sex scene I've ever seen. Between Rainn Wilson and Ellen Page. YEAH.

Also incredibly violent. Must have been eclipsed by Kickass.

Listening to a DJ Shadow album I haven't listened to in a while - now recalling vivid memories of CounterStrike benders while listening to this in the background. Oh, college.

Anyone else have music just bring up vivid associated memories, even weird ones like this one?
