It took me about 10 seconds of looking at the "1957: Eisenhower...." comic before I got it. Then it was HILARIOUS. Randall Munroe, you mother f*cker.

no images here that are nsfw, but the story content is borderline nsfw.
HILARIOUS, by the way. especially sushi pants.

Katy and I are actually going to see Mike Birbiglia this Friday. I trust this will be hilarious.
I am finding myself liking various whiskeys more and more. I'll always have and love my Islay scotches, but recently I've been trying various single barrel Kentucky bourbons. Crown is always a good fallback, especially their special reserve.
Erik, we need to splurge and treat ourselves with the super fancy crown sometime.
Also, due to various events in my life recently, I find myself drinking whiskey more often. I need to do something about that.
In a few years, I want to see a movie like "The Social Network," but about Markus Persson (creator of Minecraft). And I want to it be a rags-to-riches-to-lines-of-coke-off-a-stripper's-stomach story about a small time programmer who makes it big but let's things go out of control.

Not a bad way to spend a Sunday. 29 miles, 2 hours and ~30 minutes.

Between having a relationship of nearly three years end on me, while simultaneously dealing with UF dragging their feet on my residency reclassification petition (see: financial future hanging in the balance)...life has been very...interesting.
Needless to say, that slowly spreading warm feeling that comes from the first drink of hard liquor is still amazingly pleasant. Yay for bourbon after two weeks of viciously strange times.

Recently re-stumbled across ZeFrank. Sort of an "internet celebrity," he held a weekday-ly show (called "the show") for a year between 2006 and 2007. I didn't come across it until a year or two later, but I was still pretty impressed with the guy's philosophy towards the use of the Internet.
One of my favorite videos he put together: http://www.zefrank.com/theshow/archives/2006/07/post_4.html (www.zefrank.com)

Hell yes.
So I've discovered the most amazing invention ever: wireless tethering. Who needs a hardline internet connection anymore? I just transmit a wireless internet signal from my cell phone, meaning I have broadband internet speeds wherever I have 3G coverage, which is regularly faster than my landline speeds (and also more reliable, ironically). And I can go anywhere with my laptop and have wireless internet. Amazing!
I think this fits here: http://www.cracked.com/blog/marriage-anyone-it-took-me-http://www.cracked...me-a-minister/  (www.cracked.com)m)a funny article, though with angry undertones. Also I just enjoy cracked.
I'm not usually one for either sandbox or casual gaming, but I've been enjoying Minecraft (minecraft.net) quite a bit lately. Anybody else played with this?
