I really think that evolution has so far dropped the ball in regards to sinuses.

Alaska Native Heritage Family Day at the Anchorage Museum on Sunday 11/14! Free admission!

I'll be performing my traditional string games at 3pm, but I highly recommend being there in time for the Yup'ik dance group at 2:30pm!

SPDCA: My neighbors consistently have weird shit in their yard, lawn, backyard, back deck. In the thankfully few times I've had to venture across the property line to hand over misdelivered mail, it's always been an adventure in tripping over bizarre things and awkward conversation.

Came home on Sunday to find the teenage kid and his friends had brought home a disembodied caribou leg and left it in their yard.

The Rally to Restore Sanity today in DC was bigger than the Glenn Beck rally. I am SO excited! I had to share. Happy dance, happy dance. I'm uploading pics to a google album now, I'll post a link if y'all want to see pictures.

So I thank Josh for getting me into Party Down, and now I'm at the end of the first season and nearly weeping. Man, what a great show. It's like everything I like about Glee (soul crushing real world scenarios, Jane Lynch) without the bubblegum.

Two things worth noting:

1) I can't find Season 2, Ep 1 on the interwebs. I can get all the others. Is this a weird broadcasting numbering aberration, or, if not, can someone make S2Ep1 magically appear on my computer box?

2) The guy who plays Henry left Party Down to be on Parks and Rec (another great show), which I recognized him from as soon as I saw him. But did you also know HE WAS ON STAR TREK? He was in First Contact, on the Defiant, as they are fighting the Borg near the beginning. He has a few lines about "the ship is exploding. Hey look, it's the Enterprise!"

So I regularly go to this burger place in north Seattle called Lunchbox Laboratory. Its kinda an epic trip (maps.google.com) just to get there most days because its close to 30 miles away. But if there has ever been any food worth the effort its this place. The burgers, are not really hamburgers in the classic sense but a gourmet meal that happens to be between two bun like items and involves ground beef in a patty form and form me usually slices of bacon.

If anyone happens to be in Seattle I highly recommend the place, it is perhaps the best thing I have every put into my mouth and the menu is always changing.

Oh god Erik I cannot wait for tomorrow and another epic burger.

Mark this day on your calendars, folks. I have finished, by myself, a box of 500-count cotton swaps from Costco. It's been a long, hard journey. An adventure, really. Years in the making.

11:47pm. 30 seconds asleep. Fire alarm runs out of batteries.

I have never had one run out during the day.
