Did you see that there was a guy in Eagle River who blew off one of his hands with a firework? Apparently he put the mortar into the canister/launcher upside down, and for some reason was still holding it - at least that's what I gathered from the ADN article. I'm glad we were all smart enough to not be too near those big ones when they went off.

And apparently there are TONS of emails and letters being sent to the assembly and mayor. Hopefully they don't repeal this year. Good thing we had our fun while it lasted.
