i would advise against declawing since it involves amputating appendages. Typical declawing procedures amputate all of the toes on the front paws from the tip of the claw to the second knuckle.

but i mean, for getting the checkups and initial things you need to do for cats, especially with a 2 month old. I use Hillside Pet Clinic just behind DQ there on Abbott, since a family friend works there. They do a pretty good job.
