If any of you feel the need to punish yourselves for your sins, I suggest attending an elementary school music performance. Nothing like 100 1st and 2nd graders singing about their home state with almost religious fervor. At least they weren't singing Justin Beiber.

Kiddie performances and talent shows make me cringe. Big time. Like I told JD last night, as 1st graders skipped down the aisles of the school gymnasium while their music teacher told the crowd how proud he was of teaching the kids to skip...

I am pretty sure this makes me a bad parent.
