Oy. Portland was fun. But it set me back 4 weeks.

I don't read much on the topic of fitness. Maybe I should to get better direction on the things I do, but I'd rather be out doing something. Or riding my exercise bike while watching TNG.

I have been keeping track of weight, but I have no (known) way to measure for BMI, and I'm likely too lazy to measure physical dimensions.

What do you mean by "low glycemic index?"

I'm not super keen on the concept of the free day. As evident by my habits on vacation, a "break" isn't really a break, it's instead a relapse. Which solidifies in my mind that if I don't want to revert to past habits / weights, I can't ever go back to a "normal" or otherwise unmonitored diet.

My boss last week, in reparations for some prior wrong, brought in two dozen donuts. He wouldn't leave us alone until we had at least one donut, complained and then made fun of mine and another coworker's diets when we weren't eating "enough," and then questioned our masculinity by the end of the day because he had too many leftovers. My boss is an extreme case, but nutrition, weight management, overall fitness are conflated with some really weird concepts.
