In other news: while I was intently watching a soccer game last night, I was halfway listening in on two ladies having a conversation about:

  • Wil Wheaton (and how he always plays "asshole characters" and curses "a lot" on his blog)
  • How it would be awesome to have a katana like Sulu in Star Trek 2009 (the "folding" one)
  • How one of them had picked up a cowl in Oblivion as a result of mastering the quests through the thieves' guild that maintained its own "reputation," such that you were a thief being chased through the streets by the guards when you wore it, and then back to your character's own reputation when you took it off.

I thought about talking to them about Wesley Crusher's character arc through the series, but then I remembered it was rude to eavesdrop.
