I guess the next step is seeing if this platform will cater to individuals not already attached to the group - whether their friends of friends, past acquaintances, or anons. What will draw an audience here that isn't purely a derivation of irl relationships? Is that a desire? I suppose with a large user base it's feasible dialog will flourish... I guess the trick is establishing that base (as I understand idkfa has had). But there is no theme or attachment to draw outside interest. Say if this was an existing site about Widget Manufacturing or a Gum Chewing Association, and google searches brought interested parties, they might notice the associated forum and start contributing.

We've had this conversation before, and as I watch the cherished lollerdome.com dwindle into disuse, I'm curious what kind of investment I can make here while still being meaningful. And not just posting hilarious gifs.
