Not complicated at all.

I prefer the Google Picasa Web Albums myself, for folks with accounts with Google. After uploading the pictures there (and marking them as public), you can use their "Link to" button to either link to the albums themselves, or you can embed pictures by copying their "Embed" HTML into the source (you can switch to source mode by clicking on "Source" in the comment box) and pasting it there.

Put them wherever you're comfortable with, though.
