This band went all in on the concept for their first album: naming themselves Whitechapel, then having every song on the album being first person from the point of view of Jack the Ripper. The lyrics are graphic and profane (Festering Fiesta might be the best song title of all time), the music brutal, the vocals seemingly Nurgle-inspired. One of those albums that makes me think there's something wrong with me for somewhat liking it.
2.5/5 - Average death metal/deathcore that doesn't overstay its welcome. Too gruesome to listen to regularly, and not as good as their later albums.
