I suppose would. I've been in some terrible situations in the past where I have drawn a weapon on someone endangering my family. The threat was enough, luckily.

I claim to be utilitarian, and I imagine people who who endanger other's lives are mostly tortured/unhappy individuals. Thus, if it's people that I know live happier lives, it would definitely have to be us over them.

...this is the first philosophizing I've done on idkfa in quite some time. Brings back memories of some terrible claims. Perhaps Robbie can put me in my place, like the good ol' days ;) I honestly hope to never be in the situation. Unless it's a bear, which I will stab in the face without mercy or regret.
